Bavarians Take Hiatus For 2014

Milwaukee BavariansAs reported by Wisconsin Soccer Central in December, the Milwaukee Bavarians will be taking a hiatus for the 2014 season in order to focus on completing substantial upgrades to their Heartland Value Fund Stadium. The total upgrades estimated to cost $1.1 million.

The Bavarians are one of the longest tenured teams in the NPSL, with a record 48-28-6 since 2005. The Bavarians took a similar one year hiatus in 2009.

While it’s disappointing to see Milwaukee sit the 2014 season out, their return in 2015 will certainly help raise the bar for NPSL facilities.
