It seems that the SDA, who currently operates the WPSL Lady Knights has future plans for a Knight’s branded NPSL club.

The last major outdoor club to play in the Salt City was the Syracuse Salty Dogs who played in the then USL A-League. They only lasted two seasons (2003-2004) but drew a solid attendance average of over 6,000 both years.

It is exciting for soccer fans in Syracuse to potentially have a club to support again.
